Sodium sulfate

Sodium sulfate is a salt formed by the combination of sulfate and sodium ions. The chemical formula is Na2SO4. Sodium sulfate is soluble in water, and its solution is mostly neutral, soluble in glycerol but not soluble in ethanol. Inorganic compounds, high-purity, fine-grained anhydrous are called Yuanming Powder. Yuanming powder, white, odorless, bitter-tasting crystal or powder, hygroscopic. Appearance is colorless, transparent, large crystal or granular small crystal. Sodium sulfate is easy to absorb water when exposed to the air, forming sodium sulfate decahydrate, also known as Glauber's salt, which is alkaline. Mainly used in the manufacture of water glass, glass, enamel, pulp, refrigeration mixtures, detergents, desiccants, dye thinners, analytical chemical reagents, pharmaceuticals, feed, etc. At 241 ° C, sodium sulfate will transform into hexagonal crystals. Sodium sulfate is one of the most commonly used post-processing desiccants in organic synthesis laboratories. Upstream raw materials include sulfuric acid, caustic soda, etc.

Textile industry is used to prepare vinylon spinning coagulation bath. The pharmaceutical industry is used as a laxative. Also used in non-ferrous metallurgy, leather and so on.

Safety:

Packed in plastic woven bags lined with polyethylene plastic bags, each bag has a net weight of 50kg or 100kg. It should be stored in a ventilated and dry warehouse. In summer or high temperature areas, it is easy to melt and form into large pieces, so it should be protected from moisture and rain during storage and transportation. Be careful not to puncture the packaging bag with iron nails or hard objects with sharp points and edges and cause product leakage. Do not mix with food, coal, cement, etc. to prevent contamination. In case of fire, water and various fire extinguishers can be used to put out the fire.
